Convenient Connectivity

SYNC® 4 offers Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, allowing you to seamlessly connect to your smartphone. As such, you can call your contacts, access your favorite apps and listen to your playlists. You can now also connect to the cloud with the optional 4G LTE Wi-Fi® Hotspot and FordPass Connect™. Cloud connectivity ensures your optional navigation is frequently updated with available construction and traffic information, and it also informs you about parking space availability.

Easy-to-use Touch Screens

SYNC® 4 comes with your choice of touch-screen size between 8 inches and 15.5 inches. The available 12-inch touch screen lets you multi-task by splitting the screen into different windows. In doing so, you can view your navigation route on a larger window, while changing your music in a smaller window. The available 15.5-inch touch screen adds Adaptive Dash Cards, which show popular or recently used features at the bottom of the screen so you can more easily multi-task.

Access to a Variety of Features

The available machine learning capability of the SYNC® 4 system is able to discover your preferences over time. Based on past usage, it can give you suggestions. For example, SYNC® 4 may recommend you call a friend that you often talk to or drive to a frequent destination. Available wireless charging also allows you to conveniently recharge your phone, while the digital owner's manual makes it easy to look up vehicle information and watch useful how-to videos.
