A Versatile Interior
Just like the exterior, the Bronco interior is ready for action. It comes with a wide range of features depending on the trim level you choose. The Base model comes with highlights like an 8-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and six-way manually adjustable front seats.
Of course, upgraded trim levels carry far nicer materials and tech. For instance, the Black Diamond models come with an interior ready to get dirty and has features like rubber flooring and vinyl upholstery. Other models, like the Outer Banks, offer more premium features including heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, ambient interior lighting, and proximity keyless entry.
Ford resurrected the Bronco name last year and delivered a modernized SUV with impressive off-road capabilities, a full range of customization options, and all the modern technology you could want. For 2022, Ford is adding a high-performance Raptor model in addition to two new exterior color options, and two Special Edition models.
The 2022 Ford Bronco is available with either two or four doors. The lineup includes six trim levels: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak.
Bronco Engine Options
There are two engines to choose between on the Ford Bronco. The standard motor is a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. This is paired with either a seven-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission.
If you are looking for more power, there is an optional 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 that is good for 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. This is only available with a 10-speed automatic transmission.Off-Road Capabilities
The Bronco is designed to take you where other SUVs cannot. Its Built Wildâ„¢ capabilities deliver class-leading off-road features. All models come standard with a High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) System. This includes a solid rear axle, shocks, and springs designed to keep the Bronco solidly connected to the ground.
To protect the Bronco from the rough unpaved terrain, it comes with steel bash plates. These protect the engine, stabilizer bar, transfer case, fuel tank, and rear dampers.
The two-door model equipped with the available Sasquatchâ„¢ Package has a best-in-class maximum breakover angle of 29 degrees, a front approach angle of 42.3 degrees, and a departure angle of 37.2 degrees. That means you can climb many steep, boulder-covered paths in Utah with the Bronco.
ÂBronco Raptor Details
For the Bronco Raptor model, Ford has not officially announced its specifications as of December 2021, but we expect it will come with a V6 engine. This could be a more powerful version of the 2.7-liter turbo on the standard Bronco, or stronger V6 engine options that are already available on other Ford models. Whatever engine is under the hood, you can expect thrilling performance and capabilities from this SUV.
Visually, the Bronco Raptor flaunts a unique grille design and wider fender flares than the standard Bronco model. It will likely borrow some features from the F-150 Raptor, such as FOX dampers and large 37-inch all-terrain tires.
A Stylish, Capable Exterior
The Bronco has a highly customizable exterior design. Every Bronco comes standard with class-exclusive frameless doors that are lightweight enough to remove by yourself. You can also enjoy an open-air driving experience with the removable roof that comes apart in sections.
Beyond the removable doors and roof, you can choose from a bountiful supply of factory accessories and aftermarket parts. The available factory-produced roof rack can support up to 110 pounds while driving and up to 450 pounds when parked. Add the available roof-mounted Yakima® two-person tent for an exciting camping experience in Utah's man beautiful parks.
The Bronco is available with a heavy-duty modular front bumper. You can add accessories to this piece including pod lights, a safari bar, or a winch. This bumper also gives you better ground clearance than the stock bumper does.To order your Ford Bronco and start your next adventure in Utah, contact L&L Motor, and we'll get you rollin'!
