Local parks

• Constitution Park. This is the largest park in the town. It offers a playground for kids, a skate park, a volleyball court, two pavilions, a walking path, and lighted baseball and soccer fields.
• Central Park. Located at 91 West 100 North, Central Park is another great place for your kids to play. During the summer, this park also offers the outdoor Roosevelt Aquatic Center. The indoor pool is open year-round.
• Ashley National Forest. For some breathtaking views, head north to the Ashley National Forest. This 1.3-million-acre forest offers camping, hiking, and access to Utah's highest peak, Kings Peak.

There may not be many attractions directly within Roosevelt, but you don't have to go too far to have some fun.

• Uintah County Heritage Museum. This museum is free to the public. It showcases historical items from local history, including Native American artifacts, stories of outlaws and lawmen, and anyone else who worked to create the history of the Uinta Basin.
• OARS Dinosaur. If you love rafting, you can take an exciting journey down the Yampa or Green River with OARS Dinosaur located in nearby Vernal.
